The UNC TLT Instructional Professionals Interest Group was designed to provide a statewide forum to discuss the unique needs and concerns of Instructional Professionals. Members of this community will include instructional designers, instructional technologists, multimedia specialists, graphic designers, project managers, and any others that support the development and deployment of instruction.

Goals for the group include: greater communication and collaboration between college and university personnel in North Carolina, identification of needs and areas of support for Instructional Professionals, and development of resources and documents related to support for technology-rich instructional programs.

A range of important topics could be addressed by this group. For instance, we could explore how to: design, administer and evaluate course content criteria, reduce the barriers to entry for using new technologies in instruction, and discuss how we might be able to reuse and repurpose, instructional materials.
